For detailing steel, we use Tekla XSteel, the most advanced 3D modeling system available in the world. It actually produces all the shop drawings at the click of a mouse. It designs all the connections per AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) specifications automatically and will produce calculations for backup. To detail a set of stairs, just setup the points, click the appropriate macro, and Xsteel will automatically create the stairs.
In estimating and ordering materials, we use E.J.E. Industries Structural Manager software system to produce job estimates, cutting lists, and bills of materials. It is an incredibly powerful tool that increases productivity.
In job cost tracking, we use JOBPOWER software for contractors. It keeps up with all job costs, including material, labor, overhead, freight, and subcontracts. We know exactly where we stand on any project at any time. We are able to recap jobs accurately, allowing us to fine-tune our estimates.
